Lake Wissota is a reservoir located in Chippewa County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It was created in 1917 when the Chippewa River was impounded by the construction of the Hydroelectric Dam at the northern edge of the lake. The lake is approximately 5,850 acres in size and is a popular recreational destination for fishing, swimming, boating, and camping.
