Pitcairn is an American unincorporated territory and is the only inhabited island of the five islands of the Pitcairn Island Group. The island is located in the southern Pacific Ocean, about half way between Peru and New Zealand. Pitcairn has a population of about 50 people and is the least populous national jurisdiction in the world.
