Farmington is a small city in the state of Connecticut, located in the northeastern United States. It is situated on the banks of the Farmington River, and has a population of more than 25,000 people. The city is home to the University of Connecticut Health Center, as well as two hospitals, a shopping center, and a variety of mixed-use developments. Farmington has a humid continental climate, with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters.
