Hampshire is a county in South East England, situated on the coast of the English Channel. It is bordered by Dorset to the west, Wiltshire to the north-west, Berkshire to the north, West Sussex to the east and the Isle of Wight to the south. The climate in Hampshire is mild, with temperatures rarely dropping below freezing and rarely rising above 25°C (77°F). Rainfall is fairly evenly spread throughout the year, with no distinct wet or dry seasons. Summers are generally warm and sunny, while winters are generally mild and wet.
